A bad scan but I liked the result of this.
The theme is one we have to handle in printing class: Extace. (not sure if this is the correct translation, but with this I mean the feeling, not the drug) I chose to show the morbid side of such a feeling with “Being taken away by the waves”
At first I wanted to show that underwater moment of having to choose to stay in that dampened world (with the risk of dying) or to swim back to the surface for air (leaving the feeling behind). For me Extace is a negative feeling, not because it gives people pleasure but there are too many person-unfriendly and artificial ways of coming to it and desperate measures to keep it.
